I'm a student at The Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai, drawn to how architecture, climate and culture shape the places we live. I founded Sustainability Heroes, a youth-led urban-greening initiative that has planted and sustained about 2,300 trees across Mumbai; I'm researching native-plant green corridors under Dr. Akshita Bhandari; and I'm photographing Mumbai's architecture from colonial to Art Deco, modernist and informal.
A youth-led urban-greening initiative: Miyawaki-method plantation drives with the BMC, school workshops, three children's storybooks and a partnership with the Yasham Foundation. About 2,300 trees planted and sustained, per the BMC's letter.
Drawing, section and axonometric work, ceramic modelling and site analysis, developed under Nina Koscica and Isaac Tejera.
A work in progress: colonial, Art Deco, modernist and informal architecture (Koliwada, Dharavi), linked to the planning decisions that shaped each. Now being assembled into a photobook.
Mentored research on native-plant green corridors, plus competition and pre-college research projects.
Summer programs and internships in architecture, urbanism, design and environmental science.
